Eastern Environmental has one of the largest fleets of sonic Geoprobe drilling rigs in the region. These machines allow us to finish a wide variety of jobs such as well drilling and soil testing with efficiency and accuracy that would not be possible otherwise. Utilizing either patented direct push technology or rotary sonic drilling technology, our Geoprobes are able to collect samples nearly 200-feet below the surface! These machines can vary in height from below 8-feet up to an astonishing 20-feet.
54LT Mini Drill Rig Capabilities
Our 54LT Mini Drill Rig is the perfect rig to use when operating in confined spaces. This compact drill rig is narrow enough to fit through standard 36-inch doorways. The 54LT typically stands at about 10-feet tall but it comes with the option of using a low clearance cylinder that is perfect for operating under 8-foot ceilings. This rig is capable of lateral movement to offset the probe without moving the mini drill rig. It comes equipped with a probe cylinder speed control valve for consistent CPT push at 2 cm/second. This mini drill rig is narrow enough to work in confined, enclosed places yet sturdy enough to operate on tough terrain.
420M Portable Drill Rig
Our smallest rig is our 420M Portable Drill Rig. This rig is perfect for squeezing through narrow doorways and into basements. At less than 425 pounds in weight and 23-inches wide by 62-inches tall when folded, the 420M portable drill rig can be manually lifted and carried into hard-to-reach job sites.
